Standstill reduced to an absolute minimum thanks to special nozzle

In bakeries, lye baked goods are baked by a special machine that sprays the dough with lye before baking. However, if this nozzle is blocked, production comes to a standstill and that costs money. As a specialist for customer-specific special solutions in nozzle development, we have exactly the right solution in our portfolio.

What we have done:

Previously, our bakery customer used standard tangential full cone nozzles made of plastic to spray the pretzels. However, these clogged up at regular intervals due to loose lumps of dough and this was noticeable in the quality of the baking results. However, as these standard nozzles could not be replaced and cleaned by the staff on site, a repair service had to be called every time a blockage occurred.

In order to avoid these additional costs and complete machine downtime, Wenzel worked closely with the machine manufacturer and the bakery staff to redesign the tangential full cone nozzles so that they could be easily replaced and cleaned by the bakery staff.

Thanks to us, both customer service visits and the frequent machine downtimes have been reduced to an absolute minimum. Even after cleaning by store staff, the nozzles spray evenly and reliably, while complying with all safety and hygiene standards. The customer is more than satisfied to this day and we are pleased that we were able to help with this individual special solution.
